New cigarette warning labels not applicable to dangerous foods.

THURSDAY, Aug. 27 (HealthDay News) — Would a gruesome picture of a cancer-ravaged mouth with rotting teeth make you think twice about buying a pack of cigarettes? That’s the goal of new federal regulations expected to go into effect within three years. The rules will require tobacco companies to cover at least half of the front and back of packages with graphic — and possibly gruesome — images illustrating the dangers of smoking.

If U.S. regulations are modeled after those already in place in Canada and other countries, the warnings will be shocking: blackened lungs, gangrenous feet, bleeding brains and people breathing through tracheotomies.

I wonder if they are going to put a picture of Ted Kennedy’s liver on alcohol bottles?

However, these same Communist—who cannot be bought by the corporations—will not put labels on packs of seed issued by Monsanto that contain antibiotics. They will not put labels on Aspertime that is known to turn into formaldehyde in your body. In fact, they welcome it in children’s vitamins and other medicines. How about a warning label on Canola Oil because it causes more heart disease than any other oil? Oh yea, the Canadian government says its safe.

They will not make manufacturers of milk products reveal if they are using recombinant bovine somatotropin, or rBST, in their product. Oddly, those who proudly label that they do NOT us rBST must also add that it is no different that milk from those that use rBST. That’s Monsanto sponsored government labeling for you.

What about labeling against high fructose corn syrup used in a myriad of children’s products. High fructose corn syrup may be linked to the increase in obesity. US News and World Report indicated that detectable levels of mercury have been found in high fructose corn syrup. Further, the FDA knew about it and “…sat on the information.”

This is what you get in a “class-less Communist society,” folks. You will label against those who don’t pay enough to your campaign. You will label anybody who opposes you a “right-wing extremist” or “domestic terrorist.”

Since we are going for truth in labeling, let’s slap this on the forehead of every politician that supports health care and gun control:
